This villa was designed for a gated community and shaped around the personalities and passions of its residents, Ashvin and Fatma, and their shared love for cinema, literature, and food.
The spatial flow emphasizes openness and connection. The living, dining, and kitchen areas form a continuous volume, with courtyards spilling into these spaces to bring in light, ventilation, and moments of pause. Since many of their conversations and ideas unfold around food, the kitchen serves as the social heart of the home. An island counter anchors the space and extends into an open‑to‑sky courtyard designed for everyday cooking and entertaining, complete with a herb garden, a barbecue zone, and space for a pool table.
A dedicated home theatre celebrates love for cinema. Opening directly onto a private garden with built‑in seating, it doubles as a venue for theatre workshops, readings, and intimate discussions. This blend of indoor and outdoor spaces creates a home that is warm, expressive, and tuned to the creative rhythms of its residents.
